In an executive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the occasion of Qatar National Day, the ambassador hailed His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani’s visit to Peru in October 2018, saying that it strengthened bilateral relationship, with the signing of various agreements and memoranda of understanding (MOU): “For the year 2020 we are working and co-ordinating the visit to Qatar of our President Martin Vizcarra Cornejo,” he said.
“The National Day of a country is one of the most significant events in the history of a nation; therefore, it is to remember what freedom and independence means, for a worthy country, like Qatar.
