The Bedaya Centre for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Centre), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, recently held a series of workshops at the third edition of the ‘Foundation Programme’, which aims to introduce participants to the basic concept of entrepreneurship and spread this culture among society.
The main objective of the Foundation Programme is to help entrepreneurs work towards developing their ideas and transforming them into business projects and ensure their success and continuity.
During these workshops, which were conducted over a period of four days, the centre’s entrepreneurship consultants addressed the procedures for establishing business ventures, how to prepare a feasibility study and business models, and best ways to market projects through social media tools, as well as accounting and financial reporting for startups.
Ahmad al-Saygh, Entrepreneurship Manager at Bedaya Centre, said: “We are convinced that the several workshops at the Foundation Programme have succeeded in providing the necessary tools and guidance to our promising entrepreneurs in achieving their goals.
“The aim of these workshops was to help entrepreneurs get their ideas and ventures to the next level through structured learning. We will continue with our efforts to explore more opportunities to address the challenges of imparting professional skills necessary for entrepreneurship development.”
