HE the Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud yesterday met the President of the National Assembly of Djibouti and President of the African Parliamentary Union (APU) Mohamed Ali Houmed, on the sidelines of his participation in the 7th Global Organisation of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC) Conference. The Speaker also met the President of the Senate of Burundi Reverien Ndikuriyo, on the sidelines of the conference. The two meetings dealt with co-operation in the parliamentary field and the means to enhance them, in addition to important topics on the conference’s agenda.
