Qatar and Norway on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding to establish political consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs in the two countries.
The first round of political consultations between the two ministries were held Monday in Oslo.
The talks were chaired by HE the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmad bin Hassan al-Hamadi, and Norway's State Secretary to Minister of Foreign Affairs Audun Halvorsen.
During the talks, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them, in addition to issues of common concern.
Meanwhile, HE the Foreign Minister of Norway Ine Marie Soreide met HE the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hammadi.
They discussed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them, in addition to issues of mutual concern.
