*Bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them to new horizons of cooperation, especially in the fields of economy, trade, investment, agriculture, tourism and food security discussed at the meeting
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Armenian President Armen Sarkissian held official talks at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop and enhance them to new horizons of co-operation, especially in the fields of economy, trade, investment, agriculture, tourism and food security.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by a number of ministers and on the Armenian side, members of the official delegation accompanying the president.
An official reception was held for the Armenian president upon his arrival at the Amiri Diwan. The Amir also hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Armenian president and the delegation accompanying him. The banquet was attended by a number of ministers.
