Unsettled weather conditions is expected to prevail allover the country from Friday noon until the end of next week, according to a statement issued by the Department of Meteorology Tuesday. The weather pattern is because of the extension of a low pressure over the region, Met Dept said. 
The weather is expected to become partly cloudy to cloudy gradually at times on intermittent periods with a chance of rain over most areas. The rain can be moderate to heavy at times in some areas with chances of thunders accompanied with strong wind exceeding 30 kt causing blowing dust and low visibility below 2 km at times. Sudden rise in wave height reaching 10 Ft at times is also expected.
The prevailing wind during this period will be northeasterly to easterly with maximum temperatures in the early thirties which is considered around average for this time of the year.
Meteorology Department also urged all to be cautious and to avoid all marine activities during this period and to watch for latest updates through the Department's social media accounts.
