Qatar Fuel (Woqod) on Thursday opened Bul Hemmaid petrol station on Al Majd Road near Hamad Port, taking the strength of its network of various petrol stations to 93, according to a statement.

“Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and provide customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort,” managing director and CEO Saad Rashid al-Muhannadi, said.

Bul Hemmaid Petrol Station, spread over an area of 20,000sq m, has three lanes with six dispensers for light vehicles and two lanes with four dispensers for Trucks.

The facility offers round-the-clock services, and includes a Sidra convenience store, and sale of LPG cylinders Shafaf, in addition to sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles, and diesel for trucks.

Woqod is currently overseeing the implementation of 19 new petrol stations, with most to be operational during 2019.

“As part of its strategic expansion plan, Woqod is aiming to achieve a total of 114 fuel stations by the end of 2020,” al-Muhannadi added.

Woqod has also launched a new Mobile Station at Al Thakhira area, adjacent to the existing Al Thakhira petrol station.

The facility will be available 24 hours for trucks.
