Hosted by Qatar Academy, Al Wakrah, the event brought together practitioners representing all divisions of PUE gathered for a day to participate in a range of 225 sessions facilitated by their peers, delivered by a group of specialists, experts and administrators to enhance their leadership and educational abilities.
In this context, Director, Education Development Institute (EDI), Mehdi Benchaabane, said: "We offered ourselves space for building and strengthening relationships across schools and departments as well as time to pause and reflect on how we can better serve the growth of our students." He added, "A chance to remember that everything we do aims at childrens academic progress and wellbeing,".
"I was proud and inspired to see hundreds of colleagues utilising the welcoming learning spaces at QAW, sharing their practices and exchanging tips on how to make learning, teaching and school management more effective," says Benchaabane.
Through STEP, EDI continues to develop its mission to lead professional learning and development, support curriculum improvement and build leadership capacity to improve student outcomes and supporting the growth and development of educators in Qatar and beyond.
