Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) and Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance co-operation, identify the basic conditions and elements for finding a joint mechanism between the two parties in the agreed training areas and related scientific activities.

RACA director general Ibrahim Abdullah al-Duhaimi and DI vice president (administration and finance) Dr Hend al-Mufta signed the MoU at DI headquarters.

The MoU included several areas, including scientific and knowledge co-operation between the two parties, exchange of expertise and experts, and organisation of joint events such as research and studies, workshops and conferences of common interest.

It also provides for organising a practical and summer training for DI students and the provision of vocational training in DI's specialised centres.

The MoU states for granting training certificates as well as developing the executive and professional skills and abilities of RACA employees in addition to benefiting from the programmes and courses of DI Language Center and library.

Al-Duhaimi stressed RACA's endeavor to exchange experiences that promote fruitful co-operation in the field of charitable and humanitarian work as well as the scientific and knowledge side.

Hend al-Mufta noted DI's keenness on communicating with various state institutions, in a manner that aims to strengthen strategic partnerships and opportunities for co-operation, especially in the areas of training, education and research consultancy of common interest, and to serve institutional and community integration.
