Qatar and China on Sunday explored opportunities for cooperation and areas of potential collaboration in the field of free zones. In this regard, HE Ahmad bin Mohamed al-Sayed, Minister of State and Qatar Free Zone Authority chairman, hosted an official delegation, led by Yin Yicui, chairwoman of the Shanghai People’s Congress.
The meeting focused on opportunities for cooperation between Qatar and China, as well as additional areas of potential collaboration between Qatar Free Zones and the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone.
The delegation included senior representatives, including Zhou Jian, Chinese Ambassador to Qatar; Chen Jing, Secretary General of the Standing Committee of Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress; and heads of various leading Chinese companies.
