A number of dignitaries from Qatar and abroad hailed the launch of the 2022 World Cup emblem on Tursday.

HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani, President of Qatar Olympic Committee; HE the Deputy Prime and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani; and HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad al-Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, were among those who tweeted in Arabic, while eminent international sportspersons like Kaka, Marcelo and Iker Casillas, etc, also marked the occasion with tweets in their native languages.
