The Department of Meteorology warned Saturday of thundery rain with strong wind in the afternoon.

Weather inshore until 6 pm on Saturday will be misty at some places by early morning, becoming relatively hot and humid in the daytime with chance of local cloud and may be thundery rain with blowing dust.

Offshore, it will be misty at places and partly cloudy at times, the report added.

Wind inshore will be variable at first at less than 05 knot at first, becoming northwesterly - northeasterly at 05 to 15 knot, before reaching a speed of 30 knot.

Offshore, it will be southeasterly to northeasterly at a speed of 05 to 15 knot.

Visibility will be 3 to 8/2 kilometers or less at places with thundery rain.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet, rising to 3 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 2 to 4 feet.
