The 'Mega Eid al-Adha Cultural Celebration for Expat Communities' by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior (MoI) will be held at Asian Town and Asian Accommodation City (Labour City) in Doha Industrial Area on Sunday from 5pm to 10pm. 
Eid celebrations will include musical and traditional thematic shows and cultural performances by community orchestra teams and school students, magic shows and safety and security related awareness programmes by different departments of the Ministry of Interior (MoI). 
According to a press statement, issued by the MoI, awareness officials from Traffic, Al Fazaa Police, Civil Defence, Community Policing, Search and Follow up, Drugs Enforcement and Human Rights departments will attend the events. Special prizes will be given to the audience throughout the programmes.
The celebrations are organised by the MoI with an aim to provide awareness about a safer environment at a convenient location for the members of the expat communities residing in Qatar. They are also aimed at enhancing and strengthening cooperation and communication between MoI and expatriates in Qatar by providing safety and security tips during these events. 

*Events at Doha Industrial Area

The programme will be held in Asian Town (cricket stadium parking area), Labour City (football ground) and Barwa Baraha (football ground). The entry for the public is free at Asian Town while only residents will be allowed at Asian Accommodation City. Popular Asian orchestra teams will perform musical events in multiple languages including Hindi, Urdu, Sinhalese, Nepali, Malayalam, Tamil and Bangladeshi. 
Students from Asian schools in Qatar will participate in the fiesta with various cultural shows. The participating schools include MES Indian School, Bhavan's Public School, Ideal Indian School, Olive International School and Shantiniketan School. A variety of events such as magic show and songs in Hindi, Bangladeshi, Nepalese and Bhojpuri and thematic shows will be staged to entertain people on Eid day along with educative awareness programmes.
This year's Eid al-Adha celebration is organised in collaboration with the Indian Cultural Centre and sponsored by Ibn Ajyan projects, Naaas Group, Safari Mall, Grand Mall, Trsnscind Group and Emco Qatar. 

*Events at Al Khor 

The Barwa Group in association with Waseef and in collaboration with the MoI will organise a mega cultural event Sunday at Al-Khor. The programmes for the expatriate communities will be held at Barwa Workers Recreation Complex in Al Khor Industrial Area from 5pm to 9pm. 
MoI has invited all members of expatriate communities to attend the events and urged company managements to make necessary arrangements for sending maximum numbers of the workers to different programmes. The entry at Al-Khor is free for the public.
