Hamad International Airport (HIA) has witnessed an increase in operations in the second quarter of this year.
It has reportedly served a total of 9,387,314mn passengers, compared to 7,892,456 during the same period last year, an increase of 18.9%, according to statistics released on Tuesday by Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.
HIA handled 56,452 aircraft movements, compared to 53,517 during the same period last year, a rise of 5.5%. Cargo and mail also increased by 0.3%, with 550,336 shipping movements, compared to 548,917 during the same period in 2018.Last updated: July 24 2019 09:13 AM
