At least two people were killed on Friday in a powerful explosion at a gas plant in central China, according to state media.
Twelve other people are missing after the incident, which occurred in Yima, part of the city of Sanmenxia in Henan province, the state broadcaster reported. Eighteen were injured.
The explosion damaged buildings and shattered glass in the surrounding area. Footage shared on social media showed a large plume of smoke rising from the site of the accident.
An inquiry has been launched into the cause of the blast.
