Two military training aircraft have collided during a training flight, and both crew ejected safely, the Ministry of Defence announced Wednesday.
The ministry said in a statement that during a training flight a collision occurred between two training aircraft and the crew were able to safely get out by using the ejection seat.
Meanwhile, Kuwait expressed its regret over the collision of two Qatari training aircraft, wishing Qatar continued progress and prosperity.
This came in a cable sent by Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah to HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah.
Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah expressed in the cable his regret over the collision accident between the two military training aircraft, and thanked the Almighty Allah that both crew ejected safely, wishing Qatar and its people continued progress and prosperity, under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
