Two policemen and 10 Taliban gunmen have been killed in clashes in southern Zabul province.
Clashes at southern Zabul province led to the death of two security officers and 10 Taliban militants, officials said in a statement carried by Afghanistan's Pajhwok.
Zabul has seen an increase in Taliban activities since the start of the annual spring offensive, but Afghan security forces have stepped up efforts to reduce violence and prevent the movement from carrying out further attacks.
