HE the Attorney General Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri, currently in Washington, has met the Attorney General of the United States William Barr, in Washington, DC. Discussions during the meeting dealt with judicial co-operation between Qatar and the US. HE Dr al-Marri congratulated his counterpart on his recent appointment as US attorney-general, wishing him success and further constructive co-operation between the legal institutions in Qatar and the US.
HE Dr Ali bin Fetais al-Marri also met ambassador Nathan Sales, the State Department's Co-ordinator for Counterterrorism, where a number of common issues were discussed. 
He also held a meeting with US Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security James McMann and a number of his aides to review a number of issues and files of mutual interest.
Separately, HE al-Marri met the Director of the Counterterrorism Department of the US National Security Council Joe F. The two sides exchanged views on a number of issues where Director of the Counterterrorism Department of the US National Security Council appreciated the efforts of Qatar in combating terrorism.
The meetings were attended by Qatar's ambassador to the United States Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad al-Thani.
