Under the patronage of HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, the Military Police Command celebrated the graduation of its 2019 training courses, in the presence of head of the Authority of Colleges and Institutes, Major General Hamad bin Ahmed al-Nuaimi, and a number of senior officers of the Qatari Armed Forces.

The six-week training period consisted of three sessions and focused on tackling stadium riots, tactical riots, weapons and maintaining fitness.

Military Police Commander Staff Major General Mohamed bin Messhi al-Ahbabi stressed that the sessions are aimed at providing the participants with the necessary skills to deal with riots and crowd control, with emphasis on the necessary foundations for the security of stadiums, in addition to raising the level of training for the military police.
