The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) will have extended opening hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, until 9pm, from today until the beginning of Ramadan.
This was announced on the Twitter page of NMoQ on Wednesday.
The NMoQ also tweeted that they are introducing ‘Family Saturdays’ from April 20 in order to ensure that its "youngest visitors have an opportunity to experience the museum to its fullest potential".
Further, visitors have been advised to consider the following points in view of the large crowds visiting the NMoQ on weekends: the museum's entrance and car-park close at 7pm, the last tickets are issued at 7.30pm, and the museum closes at 9pm.
The NMoQ, which has stunning architecture designed by renowned French architect Jean Nouvel and is home to an array of rare and unique collections, continues to draw a large number of visitors daily since it opened to the public last month.
