His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani extended his and the Qatari people’s condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. HE the Advisory Council Speaker Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid al-Mahmoud conveyed the condolences, during his visit to the city yesterday. During his visit to Al Noor Mosque, the Speaker expressed condolences to a number of imams and sheikhs and called upon Allah Almighty to grant the victims mercy and peace. He also visited those injured in the terrorist attack in the hospital, wishing them a speedy recovery. The Speaker left Christchurch later yesterday. He was seen off by Qatar’s ambassador to New Zealand Saad bin Abdullah al-Mahmoud.
