HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani visited the water quality laboratory of Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) in Al Duhail.
During the visit, the Prime Minister was briefed on the efforts made to monitor and control the quality of drinking water and the inspection standards adopted by the laboratory.
The Prime Minister was also was given a detailed explanation about the tests done on drinking water samples and the advanced equipment used for the purpose.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister watched two presentations on Kahramaa's efforts to ensure drinking water quality and the new water quality laboratory project being built in Al Thumama, according to the highest specifications and international quality standards.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior praised the efforts made by Kahramaa to ensure the water quality, stressing the importance of developing the monitoring mechanism to ensure the continuous supply of drinking water in Qatar in compliance with the highest international standards and specifications.
