The Joint Special Forces celebrated the graduation of the 59th foundational thunderbolt course, which lasted for eight weeks and graduated 199 trainees.

The course included a number of exercises, such as; physical fitness, fighting with bayonets, sparring, map, compass, navigational devices, guerrilla warfare, infiltration and battle intelligence, signalling and the use of wireless devices, explosives, patrols, and ambushes.

The Joint Special Forces also celebrated the graduation the 14th batch of parachute course, which lasted five weeks.

The course focused on training and preparing paratroopers theoretically and practically through organising seminars and training on the ground, which aim to help the students gain confidence in difficult circumstances and enables them to operate behind enemy lines. - QNA
