Fifty One East, Qatar’s leading department store, has signed a partnership agreement with the Education City Golf Club, it was announced.
Winners of Education City Golf Club’s monthly tournaments in Qatar will receive exclusive prizes from Fifty One East’s range of exclusive brands.
The tournament calendar will feature monthly medals, women’s open days and junior open days.
The members’ monthly medal is part of a series that showcases the top golfer of the year.
In line with the vision of Education City Golf Club to grow the game of golf, a number of the events will have a concentrated focus on women and children, according to a statement.
The first event of the partnership was the National Sport Day Stableford, which saw 100 golfers participating in the tournament.
Also, golfers participated on the 18 Hole Championship Course along with the unique- six Hole Championship course in a walking event that encourages them to stay fit on the long run.

Rolex, the luxury watch brand whose global support for golf spans more than 50 years, will be the Official Timekeeper of Education City Golf Club. Fifty One East will facilitate the installation of Rolex wall clocks in carefully selected locations around the golfing facility including the Centre of Excellence and Clubhouse.
In addition, the Entertainment Division under Fifty One East including JouéClub and alongside FNAC Qatar, will offer support to key events via a set of activations, product displays, giveaways and many more activities.
