The exhibition by Turkish artist Ayten Caglar who spent 10 years studying the Turkish horses closely reflects the beauty of the majestic creatures and their importance for the Turkish nation. Nearly 23 paintings are on display, classified into two sections – one focuses on the horses in the Ottoman era and their importance to the Sultans. The second section sheds light on different breeds of Turkish horses and highlights their beauty. The exhibition will run until February 26 at building 18 in Katara.
