Himalayan International Music Awards 2019, one of the prestigious Nepali music awards, will be held in Doha on February 15 at Best Western Plus Hotel. The event has been organised by Sabin Ghising, Sagar Nepali, Prabin Gurung and Ramji Bagale. 
According to the organisers, “Himalayan International Nepali Music Awards are to promote Nepali songs and music industry in the international market space.”
Some 37 categories, including best national song, best modern song, best music video, best composer and best musician among others would be presented at the ceremony. Some 30 artistes of Nepali entertainment fraternity, including Bhumika Giri, Amrit Khatri, Radha Tiwari Shova Tirpati, Chija Lekhali Tamang, Nabin Poudel and Sarswoti Lama, singers; Alina Rayajami, female actor; Dinash lama, comedian; Susmita Giri, dancer; and Ashma Gautam, model, would be performing at the event. 
The jury members of the awards, include Shambhujeet Baskota, Nepali music director; Unnati Shila Bohara, song lyricist; Pawan Wang lama, music arranger, Bikram Jung Shah, folk singer; Milan Moktan, music director; Roj Moktan, singer; and Anna Stir. The event will be hosted by Naresh Bhattari and Seemron Syangbo.
