Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) hosted "Education City Career Fair", which brought together 1,500 young men and women to meet representatives from 60 local and international organisations.
The two-day event, which is sponsored by Qatar Shell, opened its door to students from Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU), Qatar Foundation's eight partner universities and to QF's graduates.
The annual exhibition aims to give young people the opportunity to explore possible career options and communicate with potential employers.
In a statement on the occasion, the Deputy General Manager at Qatar Shell, Rashid Al Sulaiti said that the company offers opportunities for the students to participate in training programs, and provides them with an introductory profile of the graduate program by Qatar Shell.
"We are proud to be the main sponsor of the annual Education City Career Fair. It gives students the opportunity to learn about possible career paths and to communicate with their peers and partner institutions," Al Sulaiti added.
