Skydive Qatar has continued its successes in Qatar and abroad since its launch as the first and only parachute jumping centre in Qatar, where the centre has received a remarkable popularity during the last period of the season, especially by tourists coming to visit Qatar.
A team of three Kuwaiti parachuters selected Skydive Qatar to break a Guinness World Record, leaping 13,000ft while carrying the largest Kuwaiti flag of 63sqm. 
The event underscores the depth of Qatari-Kuwaiti brotherhood relations in various fields, especially sports.
Skydive Qatar Founder and Chairman Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Khalifa al-Thani expressed his happiness at the popularity of Skydive Qatar inside Qatar and abroad, stressing the continuity of work to contribute to the renaissance witnessed by Qatar in various fields in implementation of the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
He also expressed his delight at the selection of Kuwaiti parachuters to Skydive Qatar to achieve a record jump, pointing to the good relationship between the people of Qatar and Kuwait over the years, and stressed that the centre is open to all.
Skydive Qatar is one of the world’s most important diving centres and the centre is one of the most important tourist destinations. It is frequented by tourists from all over the world. 
Skydive Qatar has the highest standards of international parachute jumping, and offers high-quality parachuting learning and training.
Skydive Qatar General Manager Omar al-Nuaimi said that the centre is confident in achieving the objectives that serve the vision of Qatar, and the centre is no longer confined to amateur parachuting enthusiasts, but offers a wonderful family atmosphere, and many families visit the centre to enjoy the weather and to assist to shows presented by parachuters inside the centre.
For his part, Sheikh Nasser Fawaz al-Sabah, one of the Kuwaiti parachuters, expressed his happiness at the success of this experience and his presence in Qatar, which provided them with a wonderful atmosphere to break the record. 
He pointed out that Skydive Qatar is the second home for all Kuwaiti parachuters, praising the good spirit that brings together the peoples of Qatar and Kuwait.
Fahd Abdulrahman al-Yaqoubi, another Kuwaiti parachuter, expressed his joy about this achievement, which is breaking the record of free jumping using the biggest flag. Yacoubi also pointed to the great assistance provided by Skydive Qatar.
