Israeli occupation forces arrested nine Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank Monday.
The Israeli forces arrested five young men in the south and east of Bethlehem after raiding and searching their families' homes, a security source told the Palestinian news agency.
Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces stormed Qalqiliya, raided a number of houses and tampered with their contents, including the house of the prisoner Abdulnasser Al-Rabi, and arrested freed prisoner Sameh Afaneh.
They also arrested three young men from Jalazone refugee camp north of Ramallah.
In another context, settlers installed at dawn today a caravan in the village of Battir, west of Bethlehem.
Ibrahim Awadallah, activist in the western countryside of Bethlehem, said that the Israeli occupation forces prevented citizens and landowners from reaching it, adding that the settlers had built a settlement road a few days ago, before the citizens confronted them and prevented them from continuing razing operations.
