Qatar attends Arab Parliament panel meetings

The meetings of the standing committees of the Arab Parliament kicked off  on Monday with the formation of the new committees to adopt the reports of the committees and the agendas of the 3rd plenary session of the third session of the second legislative term of the parliament, which will be held on Tuesday in Cairo.

Qatar is participating in the meetings with a delegation from the Advisory Council.
The internal and external affairs and national security committee is discussing the adoption of the report of the second committee on the political situation in the Arab world 2018, while the financial and economic affairs committee is discussing the proposed legislation of a guiding law to achieve food security in the Arab world.
The legal and legislative affairs and human rights committee will review a draft decision on the full solidarity of the Arab Parliament with the Arab states that have been subjected to terrorist operations and support of their war against terrorism and terrorist organisations, in addition to a draft decision condemning racial discrimination against Syrian refugee children in British schools.
The social, educational, cultural, women and youth affairs committee is discussing the co-ordinating efforts on the adoption of the two Arab Parliament documents (Arab women's rights document and the Arab youth document) by the Arab League Councils.
