Nespresso’s Parisian Gourmandise-inspired Limited Edition festive collection has been launched in the Blue Salon and the Nespresso Stores in Doha Festival City, the Pearl-Qatar and Mall of Qatar.
Nespresso has partnered with renowned interior designer India Mahdavi to bring out the collection, featuring Variations coffees to a range of accessories, according to a statement.
The Variations coffees centre on the traditional flavours of Parisian patisseries including macarons and praline.
Mahdavi has designed the packaging of the Variations range along with the Les Collections accessories, selected boutique display windows and the communication campaign overall.
Based in Paris, Mahdavi has created some of the world’s most iconic modern spaces including The Gallery at Sketch in London, Jean Francois Piege in Paris and APT in New York, and her work is now synonymous with elegant design imbued with rich colour palettes.
With two unique flavoured coffees, one non-flavoured coffee and a range of limited editions accessories, Mahdavi has created a collection fit for the most discerning of coffee and design aficionados.
There are two flavoured coffee Variations and one black to try, each with a Mahdavi designed aluminium capsule. Each of the Variations have been based on the Nespresso Livanto coffee blend which consists of Pure Arabica from Southern and Central America. It is well balanced with a roasted caramelised note providing roundness and balance in the finished coffees.
The new Origin Collection of coffee cups is inspired by the shape of the coffee bean and specially designed to fit into the palms. The range is finished with a matte exterior and nude-coloured glossy interior.
The collection comes in four sizes: Espresso (80ml), Lungo (180ml), Gran Lungo (270ml), Coffee Mug (390ml).
