His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr. Mahathir Mohamad held on Thursday morning at the Prime Minister's premises in Kuala Lumpur a session of talks on means to consolidate and develop cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy, economy and investment, including the clean energy sector and joint cooperation in the field of the assembly of motor vehicles, in which Malaysia has extensive experience.

The two sides agreed to form a joint high committee headed by the Foreign Ministers of the two countries, in addition to activate the joint economic committee formed since 2009.

At the regional and international levels, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common concern.

Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir attended the session.

On the Malaysian side, it was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers and senior officials. (QNA)
