Qatar participated in the 22nd session of the Arabic ministerial communications and information council yesterday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League in Cairo. The Qatari delegation was led by Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz al-Sahlawi. The session reviewed the results of the 35th Session of the Permanent Arab Post Committee and the 43rd meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for Telecommunication and Information. The council followed up on the results of the Arab postage stamps exhibition 2018 held in Oujda, Morocco. The exhibition will be held in Port Sudan as it is Arab Capital of Culture 2019. The council also followed up on the preparations for the issuance of the unified Arab stamp in 2019, which is issued every three years and Jerusalem as Capital of Palestine for its theme. — QNA
