Ooredoo has announced the launch of a new Qatarna 500 pack after seeing strong demand for the Qatarna service during the summer.
Qatarna is one of Ooredoo’s most popular services and covers customers’ calling, SMS, and data needs both locally and abroad.
With a Qatarna 500 pack, customers will receive unlimited local calling and SMS, as well as 120GB of endless local data and 45GB of free roaming data for QR500 per month. On top of that, Ooredoo has boosted roaming data allowances for existing Qatarna plans, meaning all Qatarna 350, 600, and 850 pack customers will enjoy boosted roaming data at no extra cost.
Qatarna 350 roaming data allowance has been raised to 30GB per month, Qatarna 600 pack customers now enjoy 50GB per month and Qatarna 850 pack users can roam with 100GB allowance. Qatarna roaming allowances are valid in more than 100 countries and 200 Ooredoo partner networks.
As Qatarna packs benefit from Ooredoo’s Endless Internet service, customers can enjoy the internet 24/7 as with Endless Internet, once a customer’s local data allowance runs out, they can continue to use the Supernet at a lower speed, at no extra charge, until their pack renews.
Qatarna subscribers can also enjoy a special rate of QR1 for all roaming activities including calling, SMS, and data (after Qatarna pack roaming data allowance is used). Manar Khalifa al-Muraikhi, Ooredoo director of PR and Corporate Communications, said: “From the very first Qatarna pack, Ooredoo designed the service to ensure everyone is connected 24/7.
“Thanks to our new Qatarna 500 pack, our customers have more choice. Best of all, whatever Qatarna pack they choose, they will benefit from bigger allowances thanks to the decision to make our roaming data promotion permanent.”
