Federal Limbuwan Social Forum (FLSF) recently organised an opening ceremony of its forthcoming Open Knockout Football Tournament at Barwa Workers Sports Complex, Al Khor. Twenty-eight teams will be participating in the tournament. The matches will be held at different locations. The event and pre-quarter games will be played at the sports field of the industrial sector labour city, and the quarter-finals, semi-final and the final will be played in the sports game at Al Khor. The inauguration ceremony was chaired by Khagendra Nembang, Divisional Chief. Rekha Rai was the chief guest at the event. Chhatra Kurumbhang, Programme Co-ordinator, welcomed the gathering.
The event was conducted by Dev Limbu, Secretary of the Department. The event was attended by notable personalities, including Husain Khan, President of the Terai Madhes Democratic Forum; Muhammad Muktada, President of the International Nepali Muslim Society; Karim Baksa Miya, President of the International Journalist Federation; Bishnu Jang Karki, Ram Tamang Sandhya, Parabin Ghimire, President of Trags Youth Group; Roshan Tamang, Social Worker; Raj Rachal, President of Sandhya Group Sports Department; Khagendra Rai, Social Worker; Jagdish Dhungel, Vice President of FLSF; Dambar Libang, General Secretary; Suman Yonghang, Deputy Secretary; Nagen Paksawa, Secretary; Kumar Yonghang, Treasurer; Raj Sisam Limbu, Co-Treasurer; Bimlai Rai, Central Member and Member of Women’s Division; Khagendra Limbu, President of region committee of labour city; Suresh Limbu, President of Sailya Region Committee; Ali Tej Thebe, President of Regional Committee Umm Salal; and Sunita Jabegu.
