Ashghal is participating as a strategic project management partner in the inaugural “Big 5 Qatar”, an international building and construction expo, which concludes on Wednesday  at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Ashghal is presenting the latest technologies in the construction sector, according to a statement issued yesterday. Engineer Amal al-Mulla, from the Technical Office, made a presentation about the “Construction Excellence” initiative, which she described as the legacy of creating a better industry, and working more collaboratively to improve construction and project delivery.

"Adopting lean methods in construction, health and safety, construction waste recycling are examples of the commitment already made to meet the the Qatar National Vision 2030, utilising latest technology in Project Management, recycling, and Building Information Modelling," she said.

Ashghal is exhibiting its vital programmes including models of some of the mega infrastructure projects.

Ashghal considers the Big 5 Qatar exhibition as a platform for thousands of stakeholders to invest in the construction sector and explore future opportunities in Qatar’s infrastructure development.

The event features a series of workshops presented by experts in the construction industry on the new trends, tools, applications and techniques used in architecture and interior design across infrastructure and building sectors.

The exhibition aims to help companies understand the construction market through a chain of events that will promote the exchange of country-specific knowledge and best practices followed in the industry.
