The Police College received the fifth batch of 113 students for the current academic year after undergoing the necessary medical tests and examinations.
The new students begin the first founding period of the 50-day period during which they learn military discipline, in preparation for their transition from civilian life to 
military life.
The college receives this new patch after completing all preparations to create the military life that students will start in a new phase of their lives in the essence of self-reliance, patience and the advancement of all daily activities, training department director at the Police College Major Fahad Saeed al-Subaie said.
Major al-Subaie added that the training department in the college relies on training plans which are the best globally. The plans are implemented in accordance with professional methods by officers and trainers at a high level of qualification and professionalism, and constantly updated to keep abreast of developments in the science of 
training, he said.
He urged the new students to abide by the laws and regulations of the college, to exert all efforts and take advantage of the training, practical and theoretical experiences they will receive during the preparation and beyond.
He further expressed the hope that this batch will maintain the outstanding line of the college, achieved by previous students.
Commander of the fifth patch Captain Saud Jubran al-Shahrani said that the Police College always aspires to excellence, driven by previous successes achieved by previous students as well as by the graduates of civil universities who will work at the Ministry of Interior.
Al-Shahrani stressed that the college is progressing according to clear plans and a consistent approach, aimed at preparing distinguished officers who contribute to the security and stability of the country. (QNA)
