Al Jasra Cultural and Social Club of the Ministry of Culture and Sports held a festival to celebrate Eid al-Adha.
The club presented a programme that included a number of musical pieces, as well as different competitions.
Gifts were distributed to the participating children.
Al Jasra Cultural Social Club is keen to organise such events on an annual basis in holidays and events in order to instil joy in the hearts of children during Eid, as part of social activities and before entering schools.
The management of the club said that it is pleased that children and their parents participate in such celebrations, and take part in the activities of the club which are scheduled to start after the end of holidays.
Al Jasra Cultural and Social Club is one of the oldest literary clubs in the Arab world.
Since its establishment in the early 1960s, it hosted many writers and intellectuals from all over the Arab world.
It is distinguished by the publication of literary works and intellectual productions through Al Jasra Cultural Magazine.
The club also offers many free training courses throughout the year for young people in various creative areas of writing, theatre, and music.
