Amir, German Chancellor review strategic relations
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held yesterday a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. During the phone call, they reviewed the strategic relations between the two friendly countries, and means of boosting them, as well as a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

Amir condoles with Indian president
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani have sent cables of condolences to Indian President Ram Nath Kovind on the death of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani has sent a similar cable to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Amir congratulates president of Mali
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has sent a cable of congratulations to President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita of Mali on his re-election for a second term, wishing him success and the friendly Malian people further development and prosperity. His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani has sent a similar cable to President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.
