The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) received Friday a large number of visitors of different age groups and nationalities to celebrate Eid al-Fitr holidays. The festivities will continue for three more days.

Activities were held along the Katara esplanade from 9am to 9.30pm. A music show, held at 8.30pm and 9.15pm, attracted a big crowd. Gifts were distributed to children.
Katara general manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti said all facilities have been prepared to make the occasion special for everyone, especially children.
“There are special arrangements to ensure a smooth traffic flow into Katara,” he stated.
More than 50 restaurants are participating with their stalls in the “Ghabga” yard apart from the embedded eateries at Katara, Dr al-Sulaiti added.
