HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi stressed on Saturday that the country's wise leadership has provided all the means to improve the educational process, namely competent teachers and modern curricula, the school environment represented in the best school buildings, technologies, facilities, in addition to the financial allocations to provide logistical support.

He called on the Ministry's employees and all parties involved in the educational process and partners to make every effort to create the appropriate environment in the school and the home, so as to enable students to perform well during the second semester tests.

Dr al-Hammadi addressed the annual Ramadan meeting of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in a letter to the ministry's employees calling on them to promote and consolidate the culture of dialogue and participation and not to concentrate the educational decision and to share responsibilities among all employees when devising strategies and plans that turn the ministry's vision into reality.

The Minister of Education and Higher Education stressed the importance of self-evaluation for the employees inviting them, in the blessed month of Ramadan, to be their own internal guide, and give their most in order to achieve the best results.

He highlighted the ministry's strategy for the period 2017-2022 saying it has set a world-class education system that offers equitable opportunities for quality education and training, and gives all learners the skills and competencies necessary to achieve the desired transformation.

In also promotes the values of Qatari society and its heritage, and tolerance and respect for other cultures.

The Minister thanked the partners of the educational process, especially the educational service providers, and the generosity of Qatar National Bank, the strategic partner of the Ministry and its permanent sponsor for most of its activities and school activities during the 2017-2018 academic year.
