HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met on Wednesday Assistant to the US President and Special Representative For International Negotiations Jason Greenblatt, who is currently visiting Qatar.
They discussed the situation in Palestine, in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest.
Sheikh Mohamed reiterated Qatar's firm stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people based on the resolutions of international legitimacy and the two-state solution agreed by the international community to ensure the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
