Qatar Airways Cargo launched its new brand video at its exhibition stand yesterday at one of the leading air cargo events, Air Cargo China, taking place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from May 16 to 18.
The new brand campaign, launched recently through a series of print advertisements, positions the carrier as a premium air cargo provider and reaffirms its commitment to air freight and customer service excellence.
The premiere of the cargo carrier’s new brand video to the press and guests during the opening of its exhibition stand at the tradeshow was an impressive highlight.
The 90-second video brings Qatar Airways Cargo’s strongest attribute, its human touch, to the forefront of the new campaign and emphasises its commitment to deliver on promises, and the care and reliability shown by its global team of dedicated employees.
Qatar Airways chief officer (Cargo) Guillaume Halleux, who delivered a welcome speech at the tradeshow, said, “We are glad to once again participate in Air Cargo China, a leading logistics event in Asia and globally that attracts a large audience and generates numerous business opportunities. It is a great honour to launch the first brand video in Qatar Airways Cargo’s history at this prestigious biennial industry event.
“Our rapid growth and success is evident and would not have been possible without the passion and uncompromising commitment and support of our faithful staff and customers. This new campaign and video clearly project the essence of Qatar Airways Cargo’s brand slogan ‘Moved by People’, believing that we do much more than transport cargo. To our customers, delivering reliable solutions and services is our promise, and we continue our growth toward becoming the world’s number one air cargo provider in value, scale, reliability and client preference.”
Following the launch, Qatar Airways Cargo’s new brand video will be promoted on the carrier’s social media channels and website, qrcargo.com.
Halleux, together with dignitaries Stefan Bilger, Parliamentary State secretary in the Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure of Germany; Martin Gunthner, Senator for Economic Affairs, Labour and Ports of the federal state of Bremen; and Thomas Webel, Minister of Regional Development and Transport of Saxony Anhalt, celebrated the new facelift of Qatar Airways Cargo’s 112 square metre exhibition stand with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
As a leader in the air transportation of pharmaceutical and perishables, Qatar Airways Cargo will also participate in the Air Cargo China forum on May 18. Qatar Airways Cargo will take delivery of two Boeing 777 freighters in the next two quarters, taking its total freighter fleet to 25 this year. Qatar Airways group chief executive Akbar al-Baker, also recently signed a letter of intent to purchase five Boeing 777 freighters to bolster its cargo division’s rapid fleet expansion.
