Qatar Post (Q-Post) has won gold and silver awards at the New York Film Festival 2018 for 'Beloved Qatar' film in screenwriting and cinematography categories.
The film was produced for Qatar Airways in 2017 by Memac Ogilvy and The Edge Picture on the occasion of the launch of the new identity of Q-Post.
The film depicts Q-Post's history since its inception in 1950 to reflect the stages of Qatar's development from that time until the present day.
The film has won two prestigious awards in screenwriting and cinematography categories from a prestigious institution such as the New York Festival. The two awards are testimony to the magnificence and depth of the story of Qatar Post's history and its deep roots in the history of the country.
The Edge Picture production company has won 20 awards at the 2018 New York Film Festival. It also won the festival's award for the best production company this year for the 12th time in a row. The company has two branches in Qatar and Britain and is characterized by the production of films that are simple in the style and strong in photography and narrative story.
