HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen al-Ghanim yesterday participated in a meeting of the US Central Command in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The meeting was co-chaired by Chief of the General Staff of Saudi Arabia, First Lt General Fayyad bin Hamed al-Ruwayli and Commander of the US Central Command, General Joseph Votel, in the presence of the Chiefs of Staff of the GCC states, Jordan and Egypt.
The meeting discussed the US Defence Strategy 2018 in addition to a number of issues related to security and regional affairs and the fight against terrorism and extremism.
HE the Chief of Staff was accompanied by a number of senior officers from the Qatar Armed Forces.
