More than 160 settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque from al-Maghareba gate, heavily guarded by the Israeli occupation forces.

Palestinian sources said that the settlers' intrusions are taking place amidst provocative tours in the mosque where they listen to explanations about the ‘alleged temple’ and try to perform Talmudic rituals.

Organizations of the alleged Temple called on their supporters through their media and social networking sites to participate extensively in Al-Aqsa's incursions today on the occasion of the so-called ‘Independence of Israel’.

The Israeli Intelligence and police have preceded these large incursions by arresting one of the mosque's guards on Wednesday and summoning four others and threatening them to stay away from the surroundings of the settler groups during their incursions and provocative tours.

The settlers performed prayers in the closed ‘Bab al-Rahma’ area.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned yesterday a decision by a court in the Israeli entity, allowing Jewish settlers to chant ‘Am Yisrael Chai,’ which means the people of Israel live or are alive in Hebrew, inside the Holy Mosque, saying that it represents a practical step towards the division of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The ministry also warned of the repercussions of dealing with the escalations of settlers' intrusions into Al-Aqsa Mosque as a regular thing. (QNA)
