The Qatari-Moroccan Joint Supreme Committee held its seventh meeting on Monday under the chairmanship of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani and the Prime Minister of Morocco Saad Eddine El Othmani. The meeting was held at the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation. 

The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between Qatar and Morocco and ways to develop them in various fields, in a way that promotes strategic partnerships between both countries and meets the aspirations of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and King Mohamed VI of Morocco.

The meeting discussed the latest regional and international developments, especially the crises witnessed in the region, besides the international efforts made to combat terrorism, and the importance of continuing these efforts to bring peace and establish security and stability in the region. The meeting also reviewed a number of topics of common interest. 
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani and the Prime Minister of Morocco Saad Eddine El Othmani signed the minutes of the seventh meeting of the Joint Supreme Committee. 
Later the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and the Moroccan prime minister witnessed the signing of a number of agreements, programmes and memoranda of understanding between the governments of Qatar and Morocco. 
The two countries signed an agreement on an executive programme for the industrial co-operation agreement for 2018-2022, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on establishing a joint ministerial trade committee, a co-operation agreement in the traditional industry field, and an MoU to prepare, train and qualify human personnel to work in airlines, ports and airports between the Mohamed VI International Civil Aviation Academy and Qatar Aeronautical College. In addition, an MoU in the agricultural field, an MoU in the housing field, and the sixth executive programme for educational, cultural and technical co-operation for the academic years (2017-2020) were also signed. 
Both sides also signed the second executive programme for youth co-operation for the two years (2018-2019), the fourth executive programme for media co-operation, a supplementary protocol on the supervision and control of financial institutions on the MoU between Qatar Central Bank and Bank Al-Maghrib and an MoU for cooperation in the field of exchange of financial investigations related to money laundering and terrorism financing between the Financial Information Unit in Qatar and the Kingdom of Morocco. 
Earlier, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani held a separate meeting with the Prime Minister of Morocco Saad Eddine El Othmani at the Prime Minister's Office here. 
The meeting reviewed the bilateral relations between Qatar and Morocco and ways to develop them, besides discussing the Arab and international developments, as well as topics of common interest. 
Later in the afternoon, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani left Rabat, concluding an official visit to Morocco. 
The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was seen off at Rabat international airport by the Moroccan Prime Minister Saad Eddine El Othmani, a number of ministers, Qatar's ambassador to Morocco Abdulla Falah al-Dossari, and Morocco's ambassador to Qatar Nabil Zniber, along with senior Moroccan officials and members of the Qatari embassy.
