Shantinikethan Indian School (SIS) recently won the top national school accreditation in Qatar by meeting a set of stringent criteria set by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. The Qatar National School Accreditation (QNSA) is equivalent to prevalent internationally-acclaimed global accreditation systems in performance and quality.
This was announced in a recently held press conference at Grand Qatar Palace Hotel. The press conference was attended by K C Abdullatheef, President of Managing Committee SIS, Dr  Subhash Nair, SIS Principal, Abdul Salam, SIS Administrator, and Syed Meeraj Ali, QNSA Co-ordinator.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdullatheef stated that the school accreditation process helped SIS to assess the quality of the school through a critical self-study, and through development and monitoring of a school improvement plan. The assessment of quality included 107 indicators in 16 aspects under five key standards. The school submitted more than 200 documents for the same. He congratulated the school principal, staff, students, and the management for the achievement.
