Former FIFA president Joseph Blatter is considering taking legal action against the world governing body over his ban from football.
"At the moment I have not taken any legal action," the 81-year-old Swiss told DPA on Thursday.
"But after I have received information and evidence in connection with the ban, my goal is to question the ethics committtee's decision."
Blatter was banned for eight years in 2015 by the FIFA ethics committee over a "disloyal payment" of 2mn Swiss francs ($2.07mn) to former European football chief Michel Platini. The FIFA appeals committee later reduced the suspension to six years while Platini is serving a four-year ban.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport already dismissed an appeal by Blatter against his ban but he continues to deny wrongdoing.
