Qatar's handball team qualified for the final of the 18th Asian Men's Championship in South Korea on Friday, after a great victory over the Korean team 32-21 in the semi-finals.
The win helped Qatar qualify for the World Championship in Germany and Denmark next year.
With the result, Qatar are one step away from winning the continental title for the third time in a row after victory in the 2014 and 2016 edition.
Qatar played well against the Koreans, except for the first 10 minutes, which was fairly equal between the two teams.
Qatar had an upper hand over their opponent, ending the first set by six-goal difference, 14-8.
They continued their good performance in the second set, both in the defensive and offensive. The match ended with a difference of 11 goals, 32-21.
Qatar goalkeeper Danijel Saric won the best player award for his outstanding performance against the Koreans, which contributed to the win for his team.
Qatar's quarter-final win in last year's World Championship in France gave Asia a fourth place in the next edition.
